Visit Tatsugo Coffee Farm in Tatsugo, Amami Oshima, to discover coffee grown on the island and the landscape of subtropical farming. Afterward, explore scenic viewpoints or a brown sugar shochu distillery according to your interests.
During the harvest season, you may pick ripe red coffee cherries, taste their fruit, and learn from farm owner Mr. Matsuzaki how coffee travels from tree to cup.
After the farm visit, choose destinations in northern Amami, the western area around Yamato Village, or the south, and create a route for the day.
The places and number of stops possible will depend on the combination of destinations, travel time, season, and weather.

At Tatsugo Coffee Farm, visit the fields tended by Mr. Matsuzaki and encounter seasonal coffee fruits, flowers and tropical fruit trees.
Afterward, tell your guide what interests you. Possibilities include hills overlooking the sea, waterfalls, fukugi tree-lined lanes, southern beaches and brown sugar shochu distilleries. The route is adjusted to travel time and the day's conditions.
Another distinctive aspect is traveling with Aasa, who was born and raised on Amami Oshima and still lives there. Hear about village life, island culture and the relationship between people and nature.
Rather than trying to check off as many landmarks as possible, take time to enjoy the island's landscapes, farming, food, spirits and everyday life.

奄美大島出身。18歳でバスガイドになる夢を追って上京し、約4年半バスガイドとして各地を案内。
その経験を通して故郷・奄美の価値をあらためて意識するようになり、帰郷後はアマニコガイドサービスで約4年間ガイド経験を積みました。
現在は「奄美のあーさ」代表として、奄美群島認定エコツアーガイド、第二種運転免許を持つドライバー、キャンドルアーティストとして活動。
ウォーターパドルレスキュー資格・上級救命講習の修了など、安全面にも配慮しながら、子育て経験を生かした家族旅行や女性一人旅への細やかなサポートを大切にしています。
「見せる」だけで終わらず、その場所がなぜ大切なのかまで伝 えること。
